Competition Points

  1. Every participant of the Competition receives Points based on the trading volume generated by the new clients they introduced during the Competition Period.

  1. Only new clients introduced during the Competition Period are accounted for in the calculation of the Competition Points.

  1. Only clients who registered with an IB number during the Tickmill SC Client Area registration and opened a MT4 or MT5 or TradingView (Tickmill Trader) account under the same IB number will be considered for the point accumulation.

  1. Clients who show abusive behaviour can be excluded at any point at Tickmill’s discretion. Abusive behaviour includes, but is not limited to arbitrage abuse, churning, bonus abuse, self-referrals, hedging patterns intended to artificially inflate volume, or any activity deemed by Tickmill to manipulate the contest. Tickmill reserves the right to disqualify any participant or client at its sole discretion if any such behaviour is detected. Consequently, the IB understands in such events that a “drop” in points may be effected due to disqualified clients that may be  detracted.

  1. 1 standard round turn lot (opening and closing of 1 lot) traded by an introduced new client is equal to 1 contest point. For example, a client who traded 5.48 round lots brings 5.48 points to their IB.

  1. The maximum number of points that an IB can receive from each client is 100 points.  For example, a client who traded 400.35 round lots brings 100.00 contest points to their IB.

  1. Trading volume is calculated based on the closed trades executed with currency pairs and metals, whereas CFDs on Stock Indices, Single stocks, ETFs, Commodities, Cryptos and bonds are excluded.

  1. The trading volume is calculated for the completed (opened and closed) round turn trades performed during the Competition Period, starting from the day that the new client has been registered under the IB.

  1. A ‘round turn’ trade represents the opening and closing of 1 standard lot position, and it is counted as 1 standard lot of trading volume, resulting in 1 competition point.
